Get it together . . .

“Then God said, ‘Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters,
and let it separate the waters from the waters.’”
Genesis 1:6

I laid out the whole universe in careful order just to make the earth inhabitable, with every element, every plant and moon in its proper place. You are so busy each day, and I watch you absently lay things down as you rush about. It takes time to keep your stuff organized, but the reward is peace. You won’t have to scramble around to find things at the last minute, and keeping your room orderly will make your parents happy because it shows you respect them. Staying organized is one small way you show your love for Me.

Now What? Pray: “Father, God, I’ve never really stopped to think about how you have organized the universe. You are creative and clever, and I am amazed by your power and attention to the smallest detail of everything in my life. Prompt me to spend some today time organizing my space and my time so I can glorify you through my obedience.”
